This thickening is ideal for sauces made from fats in the pan after frying onion or meat. The flour absorbs the fats before liquid is added.


2 tbs plain flour
285-340 ml milk or cream


Fry the meat. Stir in the flour.

Add milk or cream, little by little, stirring continuously. Stir for at least 3-5 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
