1 pack of fusilli pasta
8 glasses of water
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt


4 tablespoons of olive oil
3 medium tomatoes
200 grams cherry tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Also for service:
1/2 bunch fresh basil


Let’s put water in a deep pot and add olive oil and salt to it and boil it to boil the pasta.

After the water boils, let’s throw the auger pasta into it and boil it for about 8 to 10 minutes, depending on our taste.

Peel and grate the tomatoes and garlic. Cut the small cherry tomatoes into four equal parts.

Let’s remove the basil leaves to use while serving.

Let’s heat the olive oil in a saucepan and add the garlic and tomatoes that we grated beforehand. I let this sauce boil for around 4 to 5 minutes. Let’s mix after adding salt, freshly ground black pepper and thyme.

Let’s drain the boiled pasta and transfer it into the boiling tomato sauce. Finally, let’s add the cherry tomatoes, which we divided into four equal parts, to the pasta. Thus, we ensure that it does not fall apart.

Let it cook for another 3 to 4 minutes without stirring too much. You can serve it either cold or warm after garnishing it with the basil leaves we have extracted, bon appetit.
