Hazelnut cake ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Making hazelnut cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, hazelnuts, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
