BUCATINI PASTA INGREDIENTS

1 pack of bucatini or baked pasta
1 red onion
3 garlic cloves
Half a teaspoon of paprika
350 g canned tomatoes
Half cup of parsley
1 cup parmesan or pecorino cheese (shredded or powdered)
Olive oil
Salt
fresh black pepper

BUCATINI PASTA RECIPE

Heat the olive oil in a deep pan. Add onion, garlic and chili flakes and cook on medium heat.

After 5 minutes, when the color of the onions starts to change, add canned tomatoes, salt and pepper and continue cooking for about 10 more minutes.

Boil a pot of water and add 1 tablespoon of salt to it. Let’s cook the pasta about 2 minutes less than the cooking time on the package. While straining the water, let’s separate about half a glass of boiled pasta water.

Let’s increase the heat after adding the boiled and drained pasta to the sauce pot we prepared before. Add the parsley you reserved earlier and half a glass of filtered pasta water.

The boiling water of the pasta helps thicken the sauce as it contains starch. Finally, let’s add the cheese we prepared on it and let it absorb the pasta into the sauce for 2 minutes. Now the bucatini pasta is ready to be served. Enjoy your meal.
