7.5 cups broth
250 grams of peeled fresh flower okro
2 tablespoons of flour
1 egg
2 peeled and diced tomatoes
juice of 1 lemon
1 small, diced carrot
Half a teaspoon of vinegar
100 grams of margarine
1 finely chopped onion


Okro, also known as okra or ladies’ fingers, is a flowering plant in the mallow family that is native to Africa. It is widely cultivated for its edible green seeds, which are used as a vegetable in many cuisines around the world. Okra is a popular ingredient in many dishes, including stews, soups, and gumbos. It is often used as a thickening agent due to its high fiber content and mucilaginous seeds. Okra is also rich in nutrients, including vitamins C and K, folate, and calcium.


First, heat the oil in the pan and fry the onion. When it softens, add the okro and mix for 1 more minute. Add the carrots and tomatoes.

After everything softens a little, put the broth, vinegar and salt on it and bring it to a boil. Remove the foam formed on it with a colander and cook for 15 minutes on high heat. Also, in a deep bowl, mix the flour, lemon juice and egg with a glass of water. Add up to two glasses of soup water.
